Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is the governing body of Head-Royce School, comprised of current parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents and community members who bring strategic expertise from a variety of professions. Board members typically serve two three-year terms in the following main capacities.
Fiduciaries: Trustees serve as stewards of the School’s resources, including people, facilities, and financial assets.
Strategists: The Board sets the long-range, strategic direction of the School, side-by-side with the Head of School, in addition to supporting and evaluating the Head of School.
Ambassadors: Trustees embody and convey the School’s mission and core values.
Trustees serve on various working committees that focus on strategic initiatives for the long-term health of the School, including finance, investment, audit, diversity, facilities, community relations, student life, master plan, development, and governance.
